Team members are responsible for all research, documentation, programming, and building. The coach acts as a facilitator to guide the children and help build a robot, research, and core values. Knowledge about robotics or programming is not required to be a coach. Who: Students ages 9-14 (4th-9th grade) July 31st is the registration deadline for the 2024 season. All fees are due with registration. Please sign up for a team through Hermantown/Proctor Community Ed. Please email me when you sign up. jwojciuk@isd700.org This ensures I get your information and can start creating teams. Volunteer coaches are needed, I plan to run a coaches mentoring/workshop for coaches and kids this summer. Challenge Season: August -November Weekly team meetings, coaches decide how often to meet during the week and weekends. Teams may also participate in field trips for the research project or invite guest speakers. December: Regional tournament is on a Saturday and is held at Hermantown.
