  • Behind the Wheel Package - Youth Driver Education

    Students who completed classroom instruction with another organization may participate in 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with our licensed staff. Participants must register for this course, prior to driving with one of our licensed staff. Instructors will be assigned based on availability. Upon registration, please email Ines Chandler, ichandler@isd700.org, to see if an instructor is available.
  • Fully Online - Youth Driver Education - November 2025

    Proctor Hermantown Community Education is proud to partner with A+ Driving School for fully online classes. Youth Driver Education courses are designed to teach your student how to become a responsible and low risk driver. At the end of the program, your student will have gained the knowledge to successfully pass the written permit test, confidently drive on the road, and be prepared for his/her driver license exam. Each student will participate in 30 hours of online self-paced learning and six hours of behind-the-wheel with our licensed staff. Start Date November 3. Information will be sent out one week prior. PARENT MEETING: Wednesday Nov. 12th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Mr. Edmunds classroom (311 at PHS) There will be an additional service fee of $20 once you sign into your online account. Please be sure to review all the necessary information regarding Youth Driver Education prior to registering here. If this class does not fill by October 3rd, we will open it up to 14 years and older.

    Youth Driver Education courses are designed to teach your student how to become a responsible and low risk driver.
