School Readiness is a preschool programs for four and five year-olds with a focus on helping children begin kindergarten with the skills and behaviors needed to succeed.
Stepping Stones is a preschool program for three year-olds with a focus on helping children begin kindergarten with the skills and behaviors needed to succeed.
Civic Engagement is an important step in the growth of our youth and Teen Team will provide students with an opportunity to volunteer in a positive environment and develop leadership skills for school and home. Students will volunteer at our Hermantown Summer Kids' Zone site under the supervision of Kids' Zone staff. Each teen will be encouraged to engage, develop, and build positive relationships with staff, their peers, and elementary students.
This opportunity is available for youth who have completed 6th grade or above. 12+ would be preferred.
Volunteer hours would take place between Monday and Friday. There is no minimum or maximum number of hours required. Schedules will be determined by student availability.
