School Readiness is a preschool programs for four and five year-olds with a focus on helping children begin kindergarten with the skills and behaviors needed to succeed.
Stepping Stones is a preschool program for three year-olds with a focus on helping children begin kindergarten with the skills and behaviors needed to succeed.
This course is for students entering Second Grade in the fall of 2024.
Students will participate in exciting classroom experiences to help them review and prepare for the second grade. Writing, reading, phonics, and math centers and mini-lessons will be provided daily. Small groups will also be used to help your child work on skills at their level as they review what taught in First Grade. A short recess will be provided as an activity break each day. Please send a water bottle with your child.
All classes will be held at the Hermantown Elementary School. On the first morning of classes (Monday, July 22nd) please bring your child to the northeast entry by the big gym (Door #4). We will direct you to the program classroom. It is your responsibility to arrange for transportation to and from the school. Please see that your child is picked up promptly as no aides supervise children after classes.
