School Readiness is a preschool programs for four and five year-olds with a focus on helping children begin kindergarten with the skills and behaviors needed to succeed.
Stepping Stones is a preschool program for three year-olds with a focus on helping children begin kindergarten with the skills and behaviors needed to succeed.
Students will master the art of tying their own trout flies while becoming proficient with the essential tools and techniques. Each session will build on the previous lessons, guaranteeing that students will be confident in tying independently by the completion of the class. Furthermore, students will learn how to tie various types of flies designed explicitly for successful trout fishing in this area.
Please bring $10 in cash for the supply fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
I have been tying flies for about 10 years and have shared my skills at Arrowhead Fly Fisher events. Alongside my passion for fly tying, I taught US History for 31 years in Duluth, inspiring students with the richness of American history. I also founded a fly tying club at East High School, teaching high school students how to create trout flies and fostering their love for the sport. My commitment to education and the outdoors continues to drive me in sharing my knowledge with others.
